The Turning Point receiver doesn't seem to be doing its job! Are there any troubleshooting tips anyone can recommend?

One problem could be the Smart Aware add-in for MS Office. If you have Smart Notebook installed, the Smart Aware add-in needs to be disabled.
In PowerPoint: Office Button, PowerPoint Options, Add-Ins, Manage: Com Add-s, Go, uncheck Aware MS Office Add-in, OK.
